Stable10 is partnering with a leading Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Director of Business Applications to lead their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment and broader enterprise applications landscape.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can drive ERP strategy while remaining closely aligned to manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operational excellence. You will play a critical role in optimizing business systems that support production, inventory, finance, compliance, and distribution across the organization.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop a Business Applications team responsible for enterprise systems delivery and support.
- Own the full lifecycle of D365 Finance & Operations across manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse management, and finance modules.
- Develop and execute the ERP and MRP roadmap aligned to CPG manufacturing and operational goals.
- Drive the integration of plant floor systems, quality management platforms, and regulatory compliance modules.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between operational systems and finance functions including GL, AP, AR, and reporting.
- Design and improve solutions for product costing, margin analysis, financial tracking, and production variance reporting.
- Optimize formula and recipe management, batch processing, production scheduling, and standard costing.
- Deliver integrated solutions across demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Support compliance with FDA, FSMA, and other CPG regulatory standards alongside financial controls.
- Partner with finance and operations leaders to identify automation opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of ERP implementation and business applications experience within CPG or manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Strong expertise across Production Control, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, and Finance modules.
- Deep understanding of CPG manufacturing processes including formulation, production, quality, and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of D365 Finance capabilities including costing, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Background working with MES, SCADA, or other plant floor technologies.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance within manufacturing.
- Consulting background highly preferred, particularly within CPG or manufacturing.
- Experience in process manufacturing preferred over discrete manufacturing.
- Ability to bridge finance, operations, manufacturing, and IT teams effectively.
