Scope of Role
Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, leading the company’s financial strategy, performance management, and long-term value creation. The CFO will drive financial planning, operational insight, and data-driven decision-making while ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, effective risk management, and scalable systems to support growth. This role is responsible for aligning financial performance with business objectives and enabling sustainable profitability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the financial strategy in alignment with the company’s growth objectives and operational priorities
- Partner with leadership to drive strategic planning, capital allocation, and performance improvement initiatives
- Own financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Develop actionable insights from financial and operational data to support decision-making across the business
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive accountability and operational excellence
- Optimize cost structure and profitability through deep understanding of manufacturing and cost drivers
- Oversee cash flow strategy, working capital optimization, and capital investment decisions
- Lead risk management efforts, including financial controls, compliance, and business continuity planning
- Build and scale financial systems and processes to support growth and improve efficiency
- Provide clear, timely, and forward-looking financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with operations to improve costing accuracy, margin visibility, and quoting effectiveness
- Develop and mentor the finance and administrative team, building a high-performance function
Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient execution of core accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, close process)
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners
- Support IT strategy as it relates to financial systems and data integrity
- Monitor debt structure and ensure alignment with strategic financial goals
Requirements
- Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required
- CPA preferred
- Eight to ten years of experience in financial leadership experience
- Strong business partnership and communication skills
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ability
