About the Role
This is a full-time role in Vancouver, B.C.
This isn't a traditional marketing hire. It's a builder role who's genuinely excited about where technology & AI are going - someone who reads about it, experiments with it, and can translate complex ideas into content that moves people to act. Someone who evokes emotion.
As our GTM Activation Specialist, you'll own ASMBL's demand generation and audience growth motion from day one. You're not inheriting a running engine - you're building one. That means creating the content, running the outbound, growing the audience, and building the systems that make all of it repeatable.
In the first six months, you're an executor: running manual outbound, publishing content consistently, and building the signal library that proves what works. By month twelve, you're an orchestrator: working alongside purpose-built agents, making the editorial and strategic calls that humans still need to own. By month eighteen, you're running a live agentic GTM platform - and every prospect conversation becomes a proof of concept.
You’re driven by curiosity, a bias toward action. You have the ability to absorb ASMBL's expertise across AI, data, and digital transformation - and turn it into demand.
Compensation
$95,000 - $125,000 CAD

Responsible For
- Owning ASMBL's demand generation motion - building and running outbound sequences, nurture campaigns, and content programs that create pipeline, not just impressions.
- Reading engagement signals weekly and translating audience intelligence back into updated content and outbound strategy.
- Creating and publishing content across ASMBL and leadership brands, with a consistent focus on driving engagement from the ICP segments that matter.
- Writing cold outbound sequences grounded in ICP research, trigger events, and domain expertise - not templates.
- Managing and growing a bi-weekly newsletter as a primary audience-building and demand channel. Coordinating quarterly webinars end-to-end.
- Ghostwriting blog content that builds ASMBL's authority and feeds SEO and social distribution
- Managing contacts, sequences, and pipeline visibility inside HubSpot, and keeping demand gen activity connected to revenue outcomes.
- Building the signal library in Phase 1 - documenting what content converts, which sequences get replies, and which ICP segments are responding, so the agents built in Phase 2 are trained on real data.
- Scaling output as agentic infrastructure comes online: reviewing content agent drafts, directing the outbound research agent, and running the repurposing agent to multiply every high-performing asset
About You
- You think in audiences, not just content. You understand that building a following is a long game and you're wired to play it.
- You're genuinely curious about AI - not as a buzzword, but as something you're actively using, reading about, and forming real opinions on.
- You're familiar with Anthropic's ecosystem and the broader AI landscape: the players, the use cases, the language.
- You write well and you write fast - you can take a technical conversation and turn it into a LinkedIn/blog post that lands.
- You're comfortable with HubSpot or similar CRM/sequencing platforms and can work inside a pipeline.
- You're data literate: you can read a dashboard, spot what the numbers are telling you, share the story and adjust accordingly.
- You thrive by building a playbook - ASMBL moves fast and this person moves with it.
- You have a natural drive to improve the thing you're working on, not just complete it.
- You might be early in your career, or early in the tech industry, but not early in your thinking. You want a role where the ceiling is defined by what you build, not your title.
