Position
- Executive leadership role accountable for financial stewardship, governance, and integrity, ensuring robust controls and compliance.
- Strategic partner to the MD and Board, delivering clear, decision-ready insight to support performance, risk management, and long-term value creation.
- Leads the end-to-end finance function, driving discipline across reporting, planning, forecasting, treasury, tax, and systems.
- Owns financial strategy, capital structure, and funding, including active management of debt, equity, and investor relationships.
- Provides leadership on capital allocation, investment evaluation, and enterprise-wide scenario planning.
- Leads transaction activity, including M&A, divestments, due diligence, valuation, and capital markets readiness.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with Board, shareholders, financiers, regulators, and advisors.
- Operates as a trusted adviser, influencing outcomes and aligning stakeholders in a complex, capital-intensive environment.
- Develops a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, capability, and continuous improvement.
- Combines strategic, commercial, and technical expertise with strong judgement, credibility, and cross-cultural communication.
Profile
- CA/CPA/MBA qualified with strong commercial, strategic and technical capability
- Proven expertise in capital structure and capital markets, including capital raising, refinancing, debt/equity management, M&A, divestments and IPO readiness
- Advanced financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment evaluation capability
- Strong tax strategy experience, including structuring, optimisation and regulatory engagement
- Full ownership of financial stewardship: reporting integrity, governance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and systems control
- Board-level communicator and trusted advisor, delivering clear, decision-ready insights
- Strong experience in capital-intensive, asset-heavy environments
- High integrity, accountability and sound judgement
- Credible and composed under pressure in Board and shareholder environments
- Strong influencer, able to align Boards, investors and financiers
- High emotional intelligence, low ego, collaborative and solutions-focused
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and enterprise mindset
