Business Systems Analyst Hybrid Opportunity
Location: Mundelein (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)
Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst on behalf of our client in Mundelein, IL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, recommending technology solutions, and supporting system implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct workflow analysis and create process documentation, including use cases, activity diagrams, and swimlane diagrams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend technology-driven solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, QA teams, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support system implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
- Develop reports and dashboards using large datasets to support business decision-making.
- Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and projects.
- Assist with change management, process documentation, and end-user training efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business systems analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and business process improvement practices.
- Experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, and large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workflow/process mapping tools and documentation methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or enterprise business applications.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid project environments.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
