Director of Business Operations
Edison, New Jersey (Onsite) | $120K–$140K DOE + Bonus + Benefits
We’ve partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-backed company within the franchising and business services space that is expanding rapidly through acquisitions, operational growth, and new business initiatives.
The company is seeking a highly organized, business-minded, and proactive operations leader to work closely with executive leadership and help drive execution across multiple departments and initiatives.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, improving operations, and helping a growing company scale the right way.
What You’ll Be Doing- Partner directly with executive leadership on company-wide operational initiatives and strategic projects
- Help improve accountability, communication, and execution across departments
- Lead and support cross-functional projects tied to operations, growth, integrations, and process improvement
- Build KPI tracking, reporting dashboards, and operational visibility across the organization
- Help implement new workflows, systems, technologies, and operational improvements
- Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines, priorities, and deliverables stay on track
- Support acquisition integration efforts and organizational scaling initiatives
- Prepare executive-level reporting, updates, and operational insights
What They’re Looking For- 6+ years of experience within business operations, strategic operations, operational leadership, consulting, project management, or similar functions
- Strong experience within the franchising industry or highly multi-unit environments
- Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth, or private equity-backed organizations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Experience building KPI reporting, accountability systems, and operational processes
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, change, and rapid growth
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
