Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, cost control, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing or construction sectors, preferably in precast or infrastructure-related businesses.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
· Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board
· Drive profitability, cost optimization, and financial efficiency
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
· Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
· Develop KPIs for plant operations and project performance
· Monitor production costs, raw material consumption, and wastage
· Oversee project costing, billing, and margin analysis
· Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act
· Manage internal and external audits
· Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and funding requirements
· Optimize working capital including receivables and inventory
· Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
· Lead and mentor finance and accounts team
Qualifications
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
Experience
12–18+ years in finance with at least 5 years in leadership role
Experience in manufacturing / precast / construction industry preferred
Skills & Competencies
· Strong financial and analytical skills
· Expertise in costing, project accounting, and taxation
· Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle)
· Leadership and decision-making ability
· Strong understanding of contracts and commercial terms
