A rapidly growing national construction and project delivery organization is seeking a national director of business development and operations leader to help scale and optimize business development operations across multiple regions.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building the infrastructure behind business development — including CRM strategy, forecasting, pipeline visibility, KPI reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment. This position will partner closely with executive leadership to drive operational consistency and support long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize national business development processes and reporting
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, forecasting tools, and pipeline analytics
- Lead CRM optimization, adoption, and data integrity initiatives
- Create SOPs, onboarding programs, and training materials
- Improve collaboration between business development, operations, finance, and preconstruction teams
- Support strategic planning and executive decision-making through data-driven insights
Ideal Background
- 10+ years in Business Development Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, or related leadership roles
- Experience within construction, engineering, industrial, or project-driven environments preferred
- Strong CRM, analytics, forecasting, and process improvement experience
- Proven ability to build scalable systems and drive organizational alignment
- Experience with platforms such as Pipedrive, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, CoStar, AI tools, and reporting platforms
