Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and web analytics platforms.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets utilizing statistical software including R, SPSS, SAS, and SQL to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, and Data visualization software to communicate findings effectively across teams.
- Design and implement data collection strategies to support market analysis initiatives, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data sources.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to craft strategic plans based on analytical insights that inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Utilize programming languages like Python for advanced data analysis tasks such as predictive modeling and automation of reporting processes.
- Support the evaluation of marketing campaigns through performance metrics analysis, optimizing future efforts for maximum impact.
Experience
- 4–7 years in market research, product strategy, or GTM roles in fintech, lending SaaS, or B2B enterprise software.
- Demonstrated experience conducting primary market research: NBFC/BFSI surveys, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, cohort analysis), and presentation tools.
- Understanding of SaaS pricing models (subscription, usage-based, tiered) and unit economics.
- Familiarity with the Indian NBFC ecosystem: regulatory landscape, lending products, technology stack, and key industry bodies (FIDC, MFIN, Sa-Dhan).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesise complex research into actionable recommendations for leadership.
