The Cash Flow CFO is looking to add additional CFO Consultants to our Fractional CFO Team.
Job Overview
As a CFO Consultant, you’ll leverage your accounting and finance expertise and strong analytical skills to deliver hands-on financial guidance and actionable insights to a diverse portfolio of small business clients.
The ideal candidate has experience working with small business clients, has progressive accounting experience, and currently thrives in a role where they analyze numbers to lead conversations around business growth and improvement decisions. The ideal candidate also excels at managing multiple client relationships simultaneously and brings high-level communication and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset to every client interaction.
This position is for you if you’re a resourceful self-starter, have a passion for empowering, mentoring, and storytelling with numbers, and have the drive to make a measurable impact on the success of small businesses.
This position is a full-time, W2 position with an annual salary range of $95,000 - $120,000.
Job Details
- Provides direct, confident financial guidance and education to clients of varying financial acumen; acts as a dedicated advocate for their financial interests
- Takes the time to understand each client’s business and advises on profit growth strategies
- Prepares and presents financial analysis, insights, and recommendations
- Conducts gap, scenario, and what-if analyses for client businesses; identifies opportunities for financial improvement and measurable impact
- Leads client financial meetings, delivering high-energy, engaging sessions
- Uses proactive critical thinking to help clients become more profitable and manage their costs
- Collaborates with the client’s accounting teams
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous environments
- Exhibits a strong leadership presence that empowers and guides clients
- Mentors and shares expertise with peers; supports team learning
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous fractional or multi-client experience highly preferred
- Experience in accounting and finance roles with previous hands-on involvement in core accounting functions
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for financial improvement and growth
- Experience managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously
- Exposure to multiple industries and business models; experience with small businesses required
- High-level client-facing communication and presentation skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to varying financial acumen
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without extensive supervision
- Remote, W2 position; must reside and work within the U.S.
