The Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of WellBiz Brands’ Executive Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing finance, accounting, and the Company’s centralized supply chain platform (WAVE). The CFO will lead all core financial functions, including FP&A, budgeting, reporting, treasury, tax, and risk management, while driving strategic initiatives such as capital allocation, M&A, and long-term growth planning across a multi-brand platform.
This leader will enhance financial discipline and performance through data-driven planning, KPI development, and active balance sheet management, including liquidity, capital structure, and lender relationships. In addition, the CFO will ensure WAVE aligns with enterprise growth priorities, franchisee support needs, and margin improvement objectives, while advancing technology and AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, scalability, and decision-making across the organization.
The role is critical to supporting continued growth, partnering closely with franchisees and the private equity sponsor, and building a high-performing finance organization with the systems and processes required to scale effectively.

Location The position is ideally based in Denver, Colorado, with flexibility for candidates located in the Central or Western U.S.
Target Base Salary Range $300,000.00-$375,000.00/annually plus annual incentive opportunity and potential long-term equity participation. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other business considerations.

Position Responsibilities
Overall Objectives/Responsibilities, goals, expectations
- Operational Finance - Lead and oversee all aspects of the Company’s finance function, including financial planning & analysis, budgeting, treasury, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, tax, and risk management. Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting while strengthening operating discipline and financial visibility across the enterprise.
- Supply Chain Strategy & Performance - Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of the Company’s centralized supply chain platform (WAVE), ensuring alignment with enterprise growth priorities and franchisee support needs. Partner closely with the SVP, Supply Chain to improve product margin, supplier economics, inventory efficiency, and working capital performance. Support supply chain scalability across new unit development and retail expansion initiatives, and advance systems and analytics that enhance forecasting accuracy, operational visibility, and decision-making across the platform.
- Financial Planning & Analysis - Lead a proactive, data-driven financial planning and analysis team to effectively measure results and support decision-making across all levels and all functions within the organization. Act decisively and demonstrate the ability to analyze a situation quickly and develop and implement an action plan.
- Balance Sheet Management - Prudently manage the Company’s balance sheet, including cash flow, capital investments, working capital, liquidity needs, debt levels, and banking relationships.
- Strategic Projects - Drive strategic projects in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team. Assist in making important business decisions regarding ways to continuously improve business performance while working across the business to build relationships and drive a results-based culture focused on accomplishing organizational strategies and creating shareholder value. Translate strategies into specific objectives and plans.
- Franchisee Financial Health/Relationship Management - Effectively manage franchise health and receivables, including royalties and ad funds. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and monitoring systems that maintain accountability and manage risks. Lead business review process for the franchise network. Conduct strategic franchisee acquisitions and re-franchising transactions. Earn the respect of franchisees and cultivate strong relationships; navigate challenging situations with professionalism and confidence.
- Internal & External Relations - Effectively communicate strategic and financial plans and results. This includes both internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, lenders, shareholders, key business partners, and other third parties, tailoring messaging appropriately.
- Talent Leadership and Development - Maintain a high level of integrity, excellence, teamwork, tone at the top, and quality throughout all activities. Build and develop a strong team. Succession planning and building a "bench" within the finance organization are of utmost importance.

Ideal Experience
Seasoned Finance Leader
Prior CFO experience in a fast-paced environment (or a strong #2 ready to step up), with deep expertise in FP&A and operational finance. Private equity experience and a track record of supporting successful exits are preferred.
Industry Experience
Multi-site consumer services experience within a franchised model is required; multi-brand experience is a plus.
Leadership
Proven ability to build and lead a finance organization supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations in a growth-oriented business, including M&A.
Education credentials
Strong academic background, with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
