Commercial Europe Region Sales Operations Director in the Group Commercial Sales Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Operations Director to lead sales operations across the Europe and UK region within the automotive sector. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across sales governance, policy development, order-to-delivery (OTD), vehicle management, incentives, and business performance analysis.
You’ll play a key role in shaping sales strategy, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance across regional markets, and supporting sustainable business growth. Working cross-functionally with sales, finance, supply chain, and channel teams, you’ll lead high-performing operational teams while providing strategic insight to support commercial success.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end sales operations governance across EU and UK markets.
- Research and monitor automotive industry regulations, policies, compliance requirements, and market trends.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve regional sales policies, dealer policies, and incentive frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiency by coordinating cross-functional collaboration between sales, finance, supply chain, and channel teams.
- Manage the full order-to-delivery (OTD) process, ensuring efficient vehicle allocation, inventory health, and delivery performance.
- Oversee vehicle lifecycle management and ensure a strong customer delivery experience.
- Lead the calculation, validation, and management of sales bonuses and incentive schemes in partnership with finance teams.
- Build and maintain sales reporting frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance analysis.
- Provide business insights, operational recommendations, and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor policy implementation, dealer feedback, profitability, and compliance performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and develop multi-functional teams across sales operations, marketing process management, and vehicle operations.
- Support annual and quarterly business planning, target setting, performance tracking, and gap analysis.
- Drive operational delivery through effective stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project leadership.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Significant experience in sales operations, sales management, or commercial policy within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of EU/UK automotive market operations and regulatory environments.
- Experience working across international markets, including Europe, UK, or Asia.
- Proven expertise in sales policy development, dealer management frameworks, and compliance governance.
- Strong understanding of order-to-delivery (OTD), vehicle management, and inventory operations.
- Hands-on experience managing sales bonus and incentive calculations alongside finance teams.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using Excel, BI tools, and data reporting systems.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills, including PowerPoint and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex operational projects.
- Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving ability, and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time.
- Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
