The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), (GG-0501-14) in the Cyber Systems Group (HNF) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX.
PCS expenses, if authorized, will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations. This is a Centrally Managed position under the Financial Management Career Field.

Qualifications
- As the group CFO, you will provide the senior financial support necessary to meet the strategic goals of the Cyber Group. Advise the Division CFO, Senior Materiel Leader, First Line Financial Supervisors, and Program Managers on financial and acquisition strategies. Be responsible for exercising second level supervisory and financial policies for the Cyber Group. Apply financial knowledge and mentorship to the Senior Materiel Leader throughout the PPBE. Perform a broad range of financial oversight to plan, organize and direct activities of the Cyber Group’s financial managers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while meeting customer needs.

- Skills in communicating clear, data-driven financial management strategy aligned to regulatory requirements.

- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. - This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. - This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Unless specifically waived by the appropriate Component Official (i.e., the Director of Acquisition Career Management for the Component, the Service Acquisition Executive, or the Service Secretary) or if the employee is “grandfathered” under 10 U.S.C. 1736( c )(1), the following are statutorily mandated requirements (Reference 10 U.S.C. 1733 and 1737): a. Employee must be a member of the Acquisition Corps at the time of appointment. b. Employee must execute, as a condition of appointment, a written agreement to remain in Federal Service in this position for at least three years. In signing such agreement, the employee does not forfeit any employment rights, nor does such agreement alter any other terms or conditions of employment.
- Employee must meet, or be capable of meeting, Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the position.
- Employee is expected to meet Continuing Acquisition Education requirements.
- Employee is required to submit an initial and annual OGE 450 (Financial Disclosure) in accordance with the Joint Ethics Regulation.
- This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position IAW the national Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
- Knowledge of the financial management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; acquisition functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve acquisition problems; and all aspects of life cycle integrated financial support..
- Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Skill in stratifying resources against approved programs; planning, presenting, and executing budgets; analyzing budget impacts on programs; forecasting long-term funding requirements; reviewing, evaluating, and presenting data; and supporting analysis of financial management programs and activities’ specialized documentation, etc.
