We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and operationally hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the global financial strategy for a premier, private equity-backed professional services firm. Operating across multiple continents, our organization is a market leader in complex B2B services, risk mitigation, and specialty consultancy.
As a key partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors, the CFO will drive profitable growth, optimize a global finance infrastructure, lead future M&A integrations, and steer the company through its next major equity lifecycle event.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Board Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Team, and Private Equity partners. Provide rigorous financial modeling, commercial insights, and capital allocation strategies to support aggressive organic and inorganic growth.
- Global Finance & Operations: Oversee all global financial functions, including FP&A, treasury, tax, corporate accounting, internal controls, and multi-currency reporting across international business units.
- M&A & Enterprise Value Creation: Evaluate, execute, and seamlessly integrate strategic acquisitions. Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement, and robust cash flow optimization across the enterprise.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing, geographically dispersed finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven accountability.
- Technology & Systems Optimization: Champion the modernization of financial ERP systems and business intelligence tools to deliver real-time, actionable analytics to regional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- 3+ years as a sitting CFO or high-performing divisional CFO/VP of Finance within a complex global footprint.
- Direct experience operating within a Private Equity-backed portfolio company
- Global Capability: Comfortable navigating international tax compliance, multi-currency consolidations, and diverse global regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA and/or CPA designation strongly preferred
- Industry Background: Proven experience in B2B Professional Services, Specialized Consulting, or Human Capital-intensive businesses is highly preferred.
