Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Head to lead and manage the entire finance function of an industrial product manufacturing company. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in financial reporting, team management, with a deep understanding of manufacturing business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Accounting Operations:
- Managing all aspects of accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Overseeing payroll and tax filings.
- Compliance & Controls:
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Developing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Acting as a liaison with external auditors.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
- Reporting on variances between actual performance and the budget.
- Cash Management:
- Managing cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity.
- Strategic Support:
- Providing financial advice to senior management on strategic decisions.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Working Capital Management:
- Liaisoning with bankers.
- LC/BG, funds planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts (preferably in manufacturing).
- Strong hands-on experience in Balance Sheet, P&L, and MIS reporting.
- Sound knowledge of taxation, compliance, and audit processes.
