We are exclusively recruiting for our client, a leading local Construction firm, seeking a Group CFO. Reporting directly to the Managing Director & Board of Directors and managing a team of 15 staff, duties will include;
- Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax, audit, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and risk management
- Produce timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting for the Managing Director, Board, investors and other stakeholders
- Drive annual and quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Evaluate and manage capital allocation, funding structures, and investment decisions
- Ensure robust internal controls and full regulatory & statutory compliance
- Partner with project and operations teams to monitor contract performance, cost control, and project-level profitability
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Support M&A activities, due diligence processes, and post-merger integration as required
- Manage relationships with Insurers, Bonding agents, banks, auditors, legal advisors, and external financial partners
You should be a UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA – though Australian/NZ, Canadian or South African CAs welcome to apply) with at least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience including a proven track record as a CFO, Deputy CFO, VP of Finance, or Finance Director in a construction or related project-based industry, whether in the UK, Gulf or elsewhere, providing you have a up to date experience & knowledge of UK or US GAAP.
This should include expertise in financial modelling and business performance management across a multiple entity environment (with good consolidation experience), exposure to Treasury Management and previous staff supervision (please ensure cv states all of such when applying)
