Allerton Bishop Search has been appointed to search for a Chief Financial Officer for a global listed business operating across international markets with a highly visible investors and shareholder profile.
This is a pivotal leadership appointment at a significant point in the company’s evolution. The business is entering a new phase of strategic transformation, international expansion, and operational optimisation, requiring a commercially astute and highly credible CFO capable of operating at board level within a complex, publicly listed environment.
Partnering closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board, and senior leadership team, the CFO will play a central role in shaping strategic direction, enhancing global financial performance, strengthening governance, and supporting long-term shareholder value creation. The successful candidate will act as a key strategic advisor through a period of transformation, change, and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the CEO and Board to shape and execute the long-term strategic and financial direction of the business.
- Lead all aspects of global finance across an international, multi-jurisdictional operating model.
- Drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and value creation initiatives across the organisation.
- Provide clear commercial and financial insight to support strategic decision-making at executive and board level.
- Lead investor relations activity, including engagement with shareholders, analysts, and the wider investment community.
- Take ownership of all listed company financial reporting, market disclosures, and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Ensure best-in-class corporate governance, financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks across all international operations.
- Support and lead transformation initiatives including organisational change, systems improvement, process optimisation, and international integration projects.
- Build and develop a high-performing global finance leadership team capable of supporting future growth.
- Drive improvements in forecasting, financial planning, KPI reporting, and performance visibility across the business.
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders globally to improve business performance, profitability, and capital allocation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO during a period of strategic transformation and international growth.
Candidate Profile
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience operating as CFO within a publicly listed or international business.
- Expert understanding of listed company governance, regulatory frameworks, and investor market expectations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex international finance teams across multiple geographies.
- Track record of partnering successfully with CEOs and Boards through transformation, change, or growth environments.
- Experience operating within global, matrixed, or multi-entity organisations.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with investors, analysts, board members, and external stakeholders.
