The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives. This role oversees financial planning and analysis, treasury management, accounting operations, risk management, and strategic decision-making while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial integrity. The CFO partners closely with the CEO and executive team to support scalable growth, improve profitability, and optimize overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Lead the development of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Drive long-term financial forecasting, planning, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish strategic financial objectives and growth initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions and operational improvements.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization, including AR and AP processes.
- Manage banking and lender relationships to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Ensure accurate accounting operations and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support capital planning, funding strategies, and investor/lender communications as needed.
Financial Reporting, Analysis & Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Oversee preparation and interpretation of key financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure financial and operational performance.
- Analyze business performance trends and benchmark against industry standards.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, legal, and market risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Support governance initiatives and maintain strong financial processes and procedures.
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Provide financial guidance related to growth initiatives, operational investments, and potential expansion opportunities.
- Support strategic planning efforts focused on long-term profitability, scalability, and organizational success.
