A growing North American transportation and logistics organization is seeking a strategic Billing Operations leader to oversee a high-volume, multi-stream billing environment.
Reporting to the CFO, this role will lead initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, operational scalability, controls, and cross-functional alignment across the business.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Billing Operations function, including team leadership, performance management, and day-to-day operations
- Drive process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization initiatives to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Establish and enhance billing controls, governance processes, reporting, and standardized operating practices
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Technology teams to improve end-to-end processes
- Support system enhancements, operational transformation initiatives, and process redesign projects
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility into billing performance and revenue integrity
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that support continued growth
- Support forecasting, audit requirements, and executive-level reporting
Qualifications
- Leadership experience within Billing Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or Order-to-Cash environments
- Experience leading teams within high-volume, transaction-driven organizations
- Strong background in process improvement, operational transformation, workflow optimization, and billing controls
- Experience working cross-functionally with operational and financial stakeholders
- Exposure to ERP, billing, revenue management, or operational systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead change and improve operational performance within a growing organization
Preferred Experience
- Transportation, logistics, 3PL, supply chain, distribution, or other operationally complex environments
- Automation initiatives, shared services, system implementations, or continuous improvement programs such as Lean or Six Sigma
