Sales Operations Analyst
At Specialized, we believe data is crucial in modernizing our business. Specialized is seeking a motivated and experienced analyst to help deliver insights from our data and keep the business running smoothly. Reporting into our North America Sales Operations team, this role will interface with teams throughout the North America business to streamline business processes, support the Sales team, build business tools/reports, and present recommendations to leadership.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for Sales team escalations, navigating complex business scenarios, resolving critical issues, and aligning decisions with senior and executive management. This role requires exceptional cross functional leadership, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to operate with clarity and influence in high pressure situations.
This role requires the ability to step into the shoes of business users and truly comprehend business challenges. To be successful in this role, applicants must be comfortable wearing many hats and learning on the job. One day you’ll be deep in the weeds on a technical issue and the next you could be building a dashboard for a new sales initiative. In this role you will be exposed to a wide variety of best-in-class technologies and help accelerate the growth of the North America business at the leading brand in the cycling industry.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Serve as the primary owner for urgent, complex escalations, prioritizing issues across multiple teams and competing priorities
- Quickly assess situations, identify root causes, and engage the appropriate subject matter experts and leaders to drive timely resolution
- Create dynamic reports & dashboards in SalesForce and Tableau to support the North America Sales organization
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide insights to North America Sales leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand key business objectives and create analyses to measure and track results
- Work with the Sales & Category teams to execute on selling strategies
- Support the business with order creation for Sales samples and marketing needs
- Develop and implement actionable plans to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Build and execute sales targets, compensation, and commissions for the Sales team
What You’ll Need To Win
- 2+ years of experience as an Analyst or similar position
- Prior experience in Finance, Operations, Product Management, Sales, etc
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, you love data
- Hands-on experience in aggregating, manipulating and visualizing data into actionable insights
- Advanced skills in Excel including xlookup, sumifs, nested formulas, and data management
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work hand-in-hand with Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance and other functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Oracle, Excel, Tableau and Salesforce
