CooperDouglas is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of a market-leading technology solutions organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping corporate strategy, driving financial performance, and helping lead the company's next phase of growth.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, helping guide the business through continued organic growth, operational scale, and acquisition activity. Key Responsibilities
Executive Financial Leadership
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, and performance management
- Provide insights and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence
- Develop executive reporting, KPI dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks
- Drive financial accountability and data-driven decision making across the organization
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Support board-level reporting and executive presentations
- Help guide the organization through its next phase of growth and scale
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead all budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, and long-range strategic planning activities
- Build sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and investment opportunities
- Develop enhanced visibility into revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, and operational performance
- Establish scalable forecasting processes and improve planning accuracy across the enterprise
- Analyze customer, service line, and business segment profitability to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Develop executive dashboards and KPI frameworks that drive accountability and performance
- Partner with business leaders to translate financial results into actionable business strategies
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Support acquisition strategy through valuation analysis, financial due diligence, and integration planning
- Evaluate strategic growth opportunities and investment decisions
- Lead financial integration efforts for acquired businesses
- Develop post-acquisition reporting and synergy tracking frameworks
- Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for margin expansion and enterprise value creation
- Assist in building the financial infrastructure necessary to support future acquisition activity
Finance Organization Leadership
- Provide executive leadership across finance, accounting, FP&A, and related functions
- Partner closely with established finance leadership overseeing accounting operations, billing, procurement, collections, and financial reporting
- Continue building a scalable finance organization capable of supporting significant future growth
- Mentor and develop high-performing finance leaders and teams
- Drive process improvement initiatives and enhance financial infrastructure
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Systems, Reporting & Analytics
- Champion the continued evolution of financial systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence capabilities
- Leverage Netsuite, CRM, and operational systems to improve visibility into business performance
- Enhance executive reporting through automation, analytics, and dashboard development
- Establish best practices around data governance, financial reporting, and performance measurement
- Support ongoing optimization of NetSuite and related financial technology platforms
- Improve access to real-time operational and financial metrics across the organization

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- MBA, or advanced financial credentials preferred
- 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Demonstrated success serving as a CFO, VP Finance, Divisional CFO, or equivalent executive finance leader
- Deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, and business partnership
- Strong experience supporting growth initiatives, organizational scaling, and enterprise transformation
- Proven M&A experience including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution
- Experience leading complex forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Strong executive communication and board-level presentation skills
- Experience with NetSuite and modern financial reporting platforms preferred
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic outcomes
Location
Remote opportunity with preference for candidates located in Arizona, Colorado and North Carolina.
Periodic domestic travel will be required for executive leadership meetings, acquisition activities, strategic planning sessions, and integration efforts.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is up to $400,000 with final compensation determined by factors including experience, qualifications, location, and overall fit for the role.
