Our client is a highly profitable, rapidly growing software company building advanced artificial intelligence tools that streamline complex workflow processes for major financial services firms globally.
Following a period of exceptional revenue growth, they are looking for a methodical, proactive operations associate to help build the administrative and operational infrastructure needed for their next stage of growth.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the chief of staff, gaining first-hand experience in running a scaling startup. You will play an active role in keeping the business secure, compliant, and running smoothly.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will take ownership of a broad range of high-impact operational functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Building operational systems: Partnering with commercial and engineering teams to establish secure internal systems, compliance workflows, and information security processes.
- Supporting talent growth: Designing, managing, and refining the onboarding process for new hires as the team continues to expand internationally.
- Managing business coordination: Helping coordinate legal, procurement, and recruitment operations to keep internal processes simple and efficient.
- Improving product quality: Working closely with product teams to evaluate the behaviour of internal tools, helping to test and refine their software.
What they are looking for
Our client is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, high standards of execution, and an active interest in technology. To be successful, you will need:
- Relevant experience: At least two or more years in a business operations role within a startup environment.
- Excellent organisation: High attention to detail and the ability to independently manage, track, and complete tasks across multiple business areas.
- An interest in AI: Natural curiosity about how large language models function and an eagerness to understand their practical applications in professional services.
- Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with different teams, and present ideas with confidence.
- A proactive mindset: A practical, action-orientated approach to solving problems and the ability to prioritise tasks based on business impact.
