Executive Storytelling & Decision Support
We are looking for a high-caliber operator to partner directly with the VP of Product GTM to translate complex product, partner, and market inputs into clear strategy, executive narratives, and decision-ready outputs.
This is not a traditional GTM role. The role acts as a force multiplier by turning ambiguity into clarity, building executive-level presentations, and driving insight generation across initiatives including Real ID, Snowflake, Databricks, other partnerships, and broader commercialization efforts.
Overview
This role sits at the intersection of GTM strategy, executive communication, insight generation, and commercialization support.
The primary value of the role is not just producing slides, but improving the quality of leadership discussions by structuring messy inputs into clear recommendations and actionable narratives.
What You'll Do
- Executive Storytelling & Content Creation
- Translate early-stage thinking into crisp, executive-ready outputs.
- Take rough inputs such as notes, whiteboard ideas, and fragmented decks and convert them into structured, polished presentations.
- Build clear narrative arcs: problem, insight, implication, and recommendation.
- Create slides that simplify complexity and land effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Develop multiple versions of the same narrative for different audiences, including internal leadership, sales teams, and partners.
- Rapidly iterate on decks with tight feedback loops, often under short timelines.
- Identify gaps in logic, flow, or messaging and proactively fix them.
Success in this area means outputs require minimal editing and elevate the quality of every discussion.
- Strategic Problem Structuring & Thought Partnership
- Act as a thinking partner to GTM leadership on ambiguous, high-impact questions.
- Decompose complex GTM and product questions into clear, structured problem statements.
- Distinguish between product gaps, packaging issues, and GTM execution problems.
- Frame decisions using structured approaches such as segmentation, use case prioritization, and value articulation.
- Challenge assumptions and pressure-test initial hypotheses.
- Bring clarity to situations where inputs are incomplete, conflicting, or evolving.
Success in this area means ambiguity is converted into clear direction quickly.
- Insight Generation & Decision Support
- Conduct focused, hypothesis-driven analysis across market, product performance, and competitive positioning.
- Translate raw data into clear insights, implications, and recommended actions.
- Build simple models or frameworks to size opportunities, prioritize segments, or evaluate tradeoffs.
- Synthesize inputs across product, sales, and partner teams into a single coherent view.
- Focus on decision-making rather than reporting for its own sake.
Success in this area means analysis drives decisions, not just discussion.
- GTM Strategy, Packaging & Positioning Support
- Support the definition of GTM narratives for key offerings, including Real ID, data partnerships, and platform integrations.
- Translate product capabilities into clear value propositions aligned to customer needs.
- Help structure offerings into consumable packages, use cases, and solutions.
- Identify inconsistencies or gaps in messaging across teams and resolve them.
- Contribute to partner positioning and ecosystem narratives, including Databricks and Snowflake.
Success in this area means offerings become clearer, sharper, and easier to sell.
- Execution Acceleration & Operating Cadence
- Operate as an extension of GTM leadership to keep priority work moving.
- Prepare materials for leadership reviews, partner discussions, and key decision forums.
- Help drive forward priority initiatives by structuring next steps and ensuring clarity of action.
- Maintain a clear view of what matters most and where attention is required.
- Step into ad hoc, high-priority asks and deliver quickly with minimal direction.
- Balance multiple parallel workstreams without losing quality.
Success in this area means things move faster and with more clarity when this role is involved.
- AI-Enabled Productivity & Workflow Optimization
- Leverage AI to increase speed and quality of output.
- Use AI tools for research, summarization, structuring, and first-draft creation.
- Accelerate deck development, analysis, and iteration cycles.
- Continuously improve workflows to reduce turnaround time while maintaining quality.
- Apply judgment in deciding when to rely on AI versus original thinking.
Success in this area means producing high-quality work faster than expected without sacrificing clarity.
