Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic leadership across finance, accounting, tax, reporting, and business performance functions across a diverse group of entities. Reporting directly to ownership and executive leadership, this individual will play a critical role in improving financial visibility, implementing scalable systems, strengthening processes, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all finance, accounting, tax, and reporting functions across multiple operating businesses
- Partner directly with ownership and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives
- Provide financial leadership across a complex multi-entity organisation
- Strengthen reporting capabilities by improving visibility into performance, profitability, and operational metrics
- Lead the implementation of new financial systems and technology initiatives
- Drive ERP implementation, process improvement, and adoption across the organisation
- Develop stronger financial controls, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting processes
- Improve collaboration between finance, operations, and commercial teams
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance organisation across accounting, tax, credit, and controller functions
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, cost control, and business performance
- Support continued expansion by ensuring financial systems and processes scale with the business
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a complex organisation
- Experience leading finance functions across multiple entities, locations, or business units
- Strong background within construction, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, manufacturing, industrial operations, or related sectors preferred
- Demonstrated success improving financial reporting, systems, and business intelligence capabilities
- Experience leading ERP implementations and financial transformation initiatives
- Ability to build trust and influence within an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and aligning finance teams
- Hands-on, adaptable approach with the ability to work closely with ownership and operational leadership
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
