The role
The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and PE sponsors, you will own every dimension of financial leadership — from long-range planning and capital markets activity to investor relations and cross-functional business partnering.
This role combines rigorous financial stewardship with forward-looking strategic partnership. You will translate complex financial insights into actionable business decisions and serve as the trusted financial voice for the Board.
The ideal CFO is a trusted strategic partner who combines financial rigour with business judgement. You bring a growth mindset to the role — able to challenge assumptions constructively while building consensus across the organisation. You are as comfortable presenting to a PE board as you are working alongside operational leaders to unlock value
What we’re looking for;
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years as CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent
- Proven track record in B2B software or Technology
- Demonstrable experience operating in a PE-backed or investor-owned environment
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis, accounting, and treasury
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational levers
- Track record of managing and developing high-performing finance teams
Preferred;
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience with M&A transactions, including due diligence, integration, and carve-outs
- Exposure to international operations and multi-currency environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial reporting tools
