The Chief Financial Officer & Vice President, Administrative Services provides strategic financial leadership and operational vision that will shape the organization's trajectory for years to come. This pivotal role provides enterprise-wide leadership to ensure the institution’s long-term financial stability, operational resilience, and capacity to invest strategically in academic excellence, innovation and growth. Working in close partnership with executive leadership, the CFO & VP, Administrative Services translates financial insight into strategic action, informing major decisions and supporting key growth initiatives. This role integrates disciplined financial management with strategic investment, revenue diversification, infrastructure optimization, and prudent financial risk leadership. This role leads a diverse portfolio encompassing financial services, human resources, facility services, strategy, communications marketing and retail services, and information technology services, integrating these functions into a cohesive, high-performing operation that enables staff and programs to excel. The successful incumbent will champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across all administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-oriented finance executive with a track record of leading complex financial and administrative functions within multi-faceted organizations. Along with a CPA, they bring deep expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and risk mitigation, paired with strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial insight into forward-looking strategy. As a proven leader, the successful candidate has built and developed high-performing teams, fostered cross-functional collaboration, and guided organizations through periods of change. They are a confident, polished communicator capable of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including boards and executive teams, and are recognized for sound judgment and accountability. Highly organized and adaptable, they bring a continuous improvement mindset and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and service delivery across the organization.
