What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the President & CEO and executive team to develop and execute the organization's financial strategy.
- Influence key business decisions through insightful financial analysis and forecasting.
- Lead long-range financial planning that supports organizational growth and sustainability.
- Present financial trends, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership and governing boards.
Financial Excellence
- Direct all budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management activities.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor organizational performance through key financial metrics and actionable reporting.
- Manage treasury functions, investment strategies, and banking relationships.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks.
- Lead external audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify and proactively mitigate financial and operational risk.
Revenue Optimization & Operational Partnership
- Provide executive oversight of revenue cycle operations.
- Analyze reimbursement trends and identify opportunities to maximize financial performance.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to drive accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Support organization-wide initiatives that enhance financial and operational outcomes.
Inspire & Develop Talent
- Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and innovation.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization.
- Champion professional growth and leadership development within the finance function.
What You'll Bring
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential strongly preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Proven success in senior executive financial management roles.
- Strong strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations expertise.
- Healthcare industry experience highly preferred.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $300,000 to USD $400,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
