WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Go-to-market strategy end to end: positioning, pricing, and which channel leads — agency wholesale, publisher-direct sponsorship, or advertiser-direct.
• The design-partner program: recruit and close the founding agencies, then build the reseller program on what they teach us.
• Publisher partnerships — rev-share deals that put talking ads in front of publishers' existing advertiser relationships.
• The first revenue, personally. This is a selling role before it is a managing role; the commercial org comes later, and you'll have earned the right to build it.
• The commercial voice of the company: collateral, pilot terms, case studies, and eventually the team that carries them.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 7+ years in digital advertising with receipts — publisher direct sales, agency business development, or ad-tech go-to-market.
• Fluency in the buy side's reality: how agencies make money, how trafficking actually happens in GAM/CM360, why ad-ops says no.
• Founder temperament: comfortable with equity-weighted compensation, ambiguity, and doing the unglamorous first version of everything yourself.
• Intellectual honesty. Our positioning includes a public list of campaigns this product is wrong for; you must be able to sell like that.
THE DEAL (THE HONEST VERSION)
• Meaningful co-founder equity with standard vesting (four years, one-year cliff). The split is negotiated on experience and commitment level — full-time from day one or a ramp-in both work.
• Salary as revenue allows, with trigger points agreed together in writing. This is an equity-first seat until then; we won't pretend otherwise.
• A live product to sell today — working demo, white paper, outreach engine, pilots in motion — and a technical co-founder who ships daily.
