We're conducting a confidential search for a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join a growing organization.
This is not a traditional, boardroom-only CFO role. We're seeking a finance executive who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, partnering with operations, improving processes, and building a stronger financial infrastructure that supports long-term success.
This highly visible role combines strategic financial leadership with day-to-day operational involvement across finance, treasury, administration, procurement, payroll, and business process improvement.
What You'll Do
As CFO, you'll lead all aspects of the finance organization while helping strengthen the company's operational and administrative foundation.
Financial Leadership
- Lead accounting, treasury, cash management, liquidity planning, and financing activities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, and long-range financial modeling.
- Manage banking relationships, debt compliance, lender communications, refinancing initiatives, and capital planning.
- Prepare executive, Board, investor, and lender reporting.
- Direct annual audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Operational Partnership
- Partner closely with operations to improve financial visibility and business performance.
- Develop meaningful KPIs that drive operational excellence.
- Improve working capital, cash flow, and cost management initiatives.
- Evaluate capital investments and major operational projects.
- Collaborate with leaders across the business to ensure financial decisions support operational success.
Process Improvement & Business Transformation
- Build scalable financial and administrative processes that support future growth.
- Improve procurement, purchasing controls, payroll processes, and workflow efficiency.
- Strengthen accounting, finance, payroll, procurement, and administrative functions.
- Enhance internal controls, reporting accuracy, and financial governance.
- Optimize ERP systems and leverage technology to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Standardize policies, procedures, and performance metrics across the organization.
Administrative Leadership
- Vendor management and accounts payable prioritization
- Contract review and coordination
- Insurance and employee benefits administration
- Cross-functional administrative initiatives
- Organizational process improvements
Leadership
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
- Build strong relationships across all departments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Influence change through credibility, partnership, and practical leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA, MBA, or other advanced financial credential preferred
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Previous experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller, Treasurer, or comparable executive finance leader
