As a Business Operations Associate at Pocket AI, you will be the operational backbone of a fast-scaling hardware startup. You will own financial modeling, lead the monthly close process, and manage critical manufacturer relationships. What You Will Do
- Build complex financial models and run analyses on pricing, unit economics, and cash flow to support strategic decision-making.
- Own the monthly financial close process end-to-end, including reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring total accuracy for our accountants.
- Manage daily relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners, tracking orders and timelines to ensure a smooth global supply chain.
The ideal candidate
- Brings 1-3 years of experience from high-intensity environments like investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, or startup finance.
- Possesses deep financial rigor with the ability to build three-statement models and reason deeply about P&L and margin health.
- Is a self-directed operator who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast without overthinking, and takes full ownership of their work.
