We're partnering exclusively with one of Australia's fastest-growing EdTech businesses to appoint a General Manager – Sales & Business Operations to lead and expand its Queensland operation.
Based in Brisbane, you'll take ownership of a growing business with an established campus and play a pivotal role in scaling the organisation across Queensland. This is a unique opportunity to build something meaningful while positively impacting the lives of students and their families.

You'll own Queensland's commercial performance, oversee campus operations, build high-performing teams and become the face of the business across the state. The Opportunity:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll take full ownership of Queensland's performance across sales, operations, people leadership and customer experience.
Initially, you'll personally lead enrolments, coach your team, oversee campus operations and build relationships with students, families and the local community. As Queensland continues to grow, you'll recruit and develop leaders who can take ownership of day-to-day operations while you focus on expanding the business.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading Queensland's sales and commercial performance.
- Driving student enrolments, attendance and retention.
- Managing campus operations and ensuring an exceptional student experience.
- Recruiting, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Owning budgets, forecasts and commercial outcomes.
- Building relationships with schools, families and referral partners.
- Expanding the business through additional campuses across Queensland.
- Creating scalable systems, processes and operational excellence.
About You:
You'll likely have 8+ years' experience leading commercial teams within high-growth or multi-site organisations.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience scaling a startup or high-growth business, leading consultative sales teams and managing multi-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of the Queensland schooling system, including how families make education decisions, senior secondary pathways and the importance of student attendance and engagement.
- A hands-on leadership style with strong commercial acumen, including budget and P&L ownership.
- The ability to recruit, coach and develop high-performing teams while remaining operationally involved as the business scales.
- Flexibility to work the hours required by the business, including weekends, to best support students, families and your team.
