About Backdropsource
Backdropsource is a global e-commerce company specializing in custom printed backdrops, fabrics, and event décor, serving customers across the US, UK, and Australia. Headquartered in Coimbatore with offices in Noida and Delhi, we're a 100+ member team spanning design, production, sales, marketing, operations, and AI & automation. We're scaling fast — and building a leadership layer to drive the next phase of growth.
Role Overview
You will own the revenue data engine of Backdropsource — connecting marketing spend, sales pipeline, and customer data into one source of truth. This is a leadership role: you define how we measure growth, where we invest, and what's working across three international markets. You'll work directly with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and channel strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and own the full-funnel revenue reporting stack: acquisition » conversion » retention » LTV, across
US/UK/AU storefronts.
• Define and track core growth metrics: blended CAC, MER, ROAS by channel, contribution margin, cohort LTV, and payback periods.
• Own marketing attribution — set up and maintain tracking (GA4, pixel/server-side tracking, UTM governance) so every dollar of spend is accountable.
• Partner with Paid Marketing on budget allocation, bid strategy reviews, and campaign performance audits.
• Build automated dashboards for leadership (weekly revenue reviews, monthly deep dives, quarterly planning inputs).
• Own CRM and marketing-stack hygiene: data flows, integrations, deduplication, and lead/customer lifecycle stage definitions.
• Run pricing, promotion, and discounting analysis; model the revenue impact of campaigns before and after launch.
• Support sales and B2B teams with pipeline reporting, forecasting, and territory/segment analysis.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
• A single, trusted revenue dashboard used in every leadership review.
• Attribution accuracy that lets us reallocate ad spend confidently between channels and markets.
• Forecast accuracy within an agreed variance band; documented KPI definitions adopted company-wide.
Must-Have
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience working with international e-commerce markets (US, UK, Australia, or
similar) — including multi-currency, multi-market reporting and cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Proven experience running analytics/RevOps for an e-commerce or D2C business (Shopify ecosystem strongly preferred).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; strong SQL (or demonstrable ability to work with raw data at scale).
• Hands-on with GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager reporting, and at least one BI tool (Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau).
• Strong grasp of e-commerce unit economics: CAC, LTV, AOV, contribution margin, MER.
• Ability to present data to leadership and turn analysis into decisions — not just reports.
Preferred
• Experience with attribution/analytics platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam, Polar Analytics, or similar).
• Exposure to Klaviyo or other lifecycle-marketing data.
• Prior experience building a RevOps function from scratch.
