Our Business Operations Graduate Program is open to candidates based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Sydney) commencing on February 9 2027. Working within our Intermediated insurance business, you'll help drive service excellence, transformation and business performance, supporting the teams, processes and capabilities that enable our leading brands, including CGU and WFI. You'll develop highly sought-after skills in operational excellence, data storytelling, continuous improvement, governance, change delivery and responsible AI. During the 18-month program you'll rotate through a range of operational disciplines. You'll finish the program with a broad understanding of how a modern insurance operation delivers value for customers, partners and the business. From day-one, you will be a permanent full-time employee and will have a permanent role upon completion. What You'll Do
- Rotate through Service Excellence, Regulatory Governance, Business Outcomes and Business Engineering teams, gaining a holistic understanding of how a leading insurance business operates.
- Work on real business challenges that improve customer outcomes, operational performance and business resilience.
- Analyse business processes, performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to transformation, change and continuous improvement initiatives across Operations.
- Support risk, governance and compliance activities that strengthen business controls and support sustainable growth.
- Partner with stakeholders across IAG to solve problems, deliver projects and influence outcomes.
- Develop future-focused skills in process improvement, automation, data storytelling and responsible AI.
What You'll Bring
- A university degree or higher (graduated in 2024-2025) or be in your penultimate year of university with graduation expected by the end of 2026 – in any business-related disciplines including data and AI
- A credit average achievement (65%+), and
- Australian and/or New Zealand citizen, or you hold valid work rights in Australia for the duration of the program

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity, learning agility and a growth mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
