Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a Chief Financial Officer for a growing, industrial manufacturer in the greater Seattle area. This is a highly visible executive leadership role for a hands-on CFO who enjoys partnering closely with operations, building finance infrastructure, and helping scale a complex manufacturing business through its next phase of growth.
The organization operates in a project-based manufacturing environment where operational finance, cost accounting, forecasting, and business partnership are critical to success. The CFO will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO while leading all aspects of finance, FP&A, accounting, reporting, treasury, and financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead all finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting functions
- Build scalable financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
- Partner closely with operations to improve profitability, working capital, and cash flow
- Strengthen cost accounting, job costing, and project financial controls
- Support strategic growth initiatives, capital investments, and potential acquisitions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
Ideal Background
- CFO, VP Finance, or Divisional CFO experience
- Heavy manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, engineered products, construction, or other project-based manufacturing environments
- Strong operational finance, cost accounting, project accounting, and margin analysis
- CPA strongly preferred
