Job Summary
Ejabi Group is a leading wholesaler of ceiling and partition systems and building materials across
the GCC and East Africa. We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead
the Group's financial strategy, oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, optimize cash
flow, and support sustainable business growth across our regional operations.
Key Responsibilities
1- Group Financial Strategy
- Develop the Group's financial strategy and annual financial plan.
- Advise management on expansion, investments, and profitability.
- Support strategic business decisions with financial analysis.
2- Consolidated Financial Reporting
- Review and approve monthly financial reports from each branch.
- Prepare consolidated Group financial statements.
- Present monthly financial performance to the Managing Director.
3- Budgeting & Performance Management
- Prepare the annual budget for all branches.
- Compare actual results against budget.
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
4- Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor the cash position of all branches.
- Plan funding requirements between companies.
- Optimize collections, payments, and working capital.
5- Financial Analysis & KPI Dashboard
- Monitor key financial KPIs to improve profitability, including:
a. Sales
b. Gross Profit %
c. Net Profit
d. Operating Expenses
e. Accounts Receivable
f. Inventory Turnover
g. Cash Flow
6- Financial Controls & Governance
- Establish Group financial policies and internal controls.
- Ensure every branch follows approved financial procedures.
- Review high-value transactions and financial risks.
7- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Coordinate annual audits for all companies.
- Review audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
8- Treasury & Banking
- Oversee credit facilities, LCs, bank guarantees, and financing.
- Plan funding for business expansion.
9- Major Payment Oversight
- Approve major supplier payments based on cash availability.
- Monitor financial commitments across the Group.
10- Business Growth & Investment Support
- Evaluate new branches, investments, and acquisitions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis.
- Support fundraising, investor relations, and business valuation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3–5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience managing multi-country financial operations within the GCC is preferred.
