Business Analyst - B3 BandPosition OverviewThe Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within JLL. This role analyzes business processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and works with stakeholders to define requirements that drive operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Analysis & Documentation Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation. Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories. Maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, process flows, and use cases.
Stakeholder Engagement Partner with business units, technology teams, and external vendors to understand objectives and constraints. Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and consensus-building discussions. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business needs to technical teams.
Process Analysis & Improvement Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities. Conduct gap analysis between current and desired states. Recommend process improvements and support change management initiatives.
Data Analysis Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings. Support data quality initiatives and business intelligence efforts.
Project Support Work within project teams to deliver business analysis activities on schedule and within scope. Track requirements through the development lifecycle. Manage requirement changes and assess impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role. Experience in commercial real estate or professional services is advantageous.
Technical Skills Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques including process modeling, data flow diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar). Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Analytical Capabilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex information. Data-driven decision-making approach with attention to detail. Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify root causes and propose pragmatic solutions.
Communication & Collaboration Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across diverse groups. Experience facilitating meetings and presenting to various audience levels. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in team environments.
