Our client is a profitable, bootstrapped IT lifecycle company running seven business units across hardware, refurbishment, rentals, services, spares, ITAD, and cloud. They are in a deliberate scale-up phase with a materially larger revenue ambition over the next two years.
Role Overview
Our client is looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's finance function during its next phase of growth. The CFO will play a critical role in fundraising, financial planning, investor relations, governance, and building scalable financial processes to support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising activities, including investor engagement, financial modelling, due diligence, and deal execution.
- Develop financial strategy, annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and banking relationships.
- Build robust MIS, financial reporting, and performance dashboards for leadership and investors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, statutory audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive financial controls, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Partner with business teams to improve profitability, optimize costs, and support strategic decision-making.
- Build and scale the finance function to support rapid business growth.
Mandatory Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; MBA (Finance) is preferred.
- 12–18 years of finance leadership experience, preferably in technology, IT services, system integration, or high-growth startups.
- Proven experience in leading fundraising (Equity/Debt), investor relations, and due diligence.
- Strong expertise in FP&A, cash flow management, treasury, taxation, compliance, and financial controls.
- Experience working with founders, investors, banks, and external auditors.
- Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership skills.
