POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Revenue Officer owns the company’s revenue growth strategy and leads all revenue-generating functions: Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Client Experience, Strategic Partnerships, and Revenue Operations. The role is accountable for accelerating recurring revenue, expanding market share, strengthening retention, and increasing customer lifetime value.
The CRO ensures every commercial interaction reinforces our mission of helping organizations build engaged, recognized, and inspired workforces, and identifies solutions that meet evolving employer needs across engagement, recognition, wellness, incentive, and service award programs. The position serves on the Executive Leadership Team and works across the organization to deliver exceptional client experiences alongside profitable, sustainable growth.

Revenue Strategy and Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the long-term revenue growth strategy, annual revenue objectives, and sales forecasts
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities that increase ARR, retention, and expansion revenue
- Build revenue budgets and forecasts; monitor performance against goals and improve profitability
- Recommend pricing and packaging strategies that maximize customer value
Sales Leadership
- Lead and develop high-performing Sales and Business Development teams
- Build scalable sales processes, performance metrics, and strategic account growth initiatives
- Improve pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and sales productivity
- Coach sales leaders on consultative, value-based solution selling
Client Experience and Retention
- Partner with Client Experience and Client Success to improve client satisfaction, retention, and Net Promoter Score
- Identify account expansion opportunities across engagement, recognition, wellness, and service award solutions
- Promote a client-first culture throughout the organization
Marketing and Demand Generation
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate qualified leads, build brand awareness, and align campaigns to revenue goals
- Monitor campaign performance and return on investment
- Position the organization as a thought leader in employee engagement and recognition
Strategic Partnerships
- Build relationships with HR technology providers, benefit brokers, consultants, payroll providers, and channel partners
- Identify co-marketing and referral opportunities, and negotiate agreements that expand market reach
Revenue Operations and Product Collaboration
- Optimize CRM utilization, sales analytics, and dashboards tracking pipeline health, retention, and forecasting
- Ensure accurate forecasting and data-driven decision making across the revenue organization
- Partner with Product Management and Technology to identify market needs, provide customer insight into the product roadmap, and evaluate emerging technologies including AI and analytics
- Ensure product offerings remain competitive within the employee engagement marketplace
Executive Leadership
- Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and participate in strategic planning
- Present revenue performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Champion accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The CRO inspires and develops high-performing leaders, fosters collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Client Experience, Product, Finance, and Operations, and builds a culture centered on customer success and measurable business outcomes.
- The role is responsible for succession planning, leadership pipeline development, and advancing the organization’s mission, vision, and core values.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field required. MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
