We're partnering with a great client, a large, well-established global technology company with a strong presence across the enterprise software sector, to find an Associate Sales Operations Analyst for a 12-month, Sydney-based hybrid contract. They offer a collaborative, data-driven environment with genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and global systems.
About the role
As Associate Sales Operations Analyst, you'll own coverage, ramp and CRM data for your assigned region, working closely with BDR leadership to keep territory planning accurate and actionable. You'll translate data such as attainment trends, ARR movement and close-date shifts into clear insights that inform staffing, coverage and capacity decisions, partnering closely with senior stakeholders along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Own coverage, ramp and CRM hygiene data for the assigned region, acting as the primary point of contact for these datasets.
- Build and maintain attainment reporting for BDR leadership cadences, translating territory-level signals into inputs for the global capacity model.
- Run recurring diagnostic checks, including weekly ARR and close-date movement analysis, escalating and acting on anomalies as they arise.
- Maintain territory assignments and headcount status, proactively flagging coverage gaps and staffing needs to the Capacity and Annual Planning Manager.
- Partner with regional BDR leaders on territory planning questions, data requests and broader operational improvements.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Marketing Operations, Go-to-Market or a related function, ideally within the software industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field.
- Strong data analysis skills across Excel, SQL, Tableau or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics, plus tools like Outreach.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to data accuracy.
- Comfort working with planning, coverage and staffing models, and translating data into actionable business insights.
