Position Overview
We are looking for a high-caliber Regional CFO ( Qualified CA 18+ Y) to lead Finance, Accounting, Controlling and Business Finance for the India and Southeast Asia region of a leading global manufacturing organization.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across multiple countries, manufacturing plants, legal entities and business operations. The role will combine Corporate Finance, Plant Controlling, Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Compliance, Business Performance Management and Strategic Decision Support.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manufacturing finance and plant controlling, along with exposure to multi-country and multi-location operations, particularly in Southeast Asian markets.
This is a highly business-oriented CFO role requiring the ability to move beyond financial reporting and provide actionable insights on profitability, cash flow, working capital, balance sheet optimization, cost structures, capital deployment and operational efficiency.
Key Deliverables:
- Steer overall accounting operations and Controlling function across India and Southeast Asia.
- Spearhead Business reviews with Country & Global Management, highlighting Business KPI’s challenges and making recommendations to facilitate decision making.
- Lead and deliver statutory financial closures and reporting in accordance with IFRS ensuring accuracy, compliance, transparency, and timely reporting.
- Establish robust financial governance, controls, reporting systems and performance-management mechanisms across countries.
- Oversee statutory and management accounting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop comprehensive financial and non-financial KPI frameworks across the region.
- Take ownership of regional cash-flow planning and optimization.
- Oversee Transfer Pricing policies, documentation and compliance
Ideal Incumbent:
- Chartered Accountant and senior finance professional with 20 years of experience across Corporate
Finance, Strategic Finance, Treasury, Fund Raising, M&A, FP&A, Taxation, Consolidation and
Global Financial Controllership.
- Strong understanding of cross-border taxation, import/export taxation and customs implications to ensure appropriate tax treatment of imports, exports, royalties, technical fees, services and inter-company transactions.
