Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading all financial operations and strategy at ATMAN. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, while ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. Daily responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, managing financial controls, supervising accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role involves partnering with senior leadership on investment decisions, risk management, and capital allocation, as well as presenting financial performance and insights to stakeholders. The CFO will build and develop the finance team, implement systems and tools that support growth, and contribute to overall organizational strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to support decision-making and stakeholder communication.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
- Experience establishing and maintaining robust financial controls, compliance processes, and governance frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership in a technology or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, or working with boards and external financial partners is an advantage.
