Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a global organization operating across agriculture, food, commodities, manufacturing, and supply chain services. The business is entering an important phase of growth and transformation and is seeking a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, strengthen business performance, and serve as a key partner to the executive leadership team.
This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who can operate beyond traditional reporting. The CFO will bring together financial discipline, operational insight, long-term planning, and commercial decision-making across a complex, multi-location organization.
What You’ll Lead:
- Set the overall financial strategy in partnership with the CEO and senior leadership team
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, controls, and risk management
- Partner with operations, commercial, procurement, supply chain, and business unit leaders
- Improve visibility into profitability, working capital, cash flow, and operational performance
- Evaluate investments, acquisitions, capital requirements, and strategic growth opportunities
- Build consistent financial processes and performance metrics across multiple areas of the business
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization
- Translate financial data into clear recommendations that support better business decisions
- Strengthen collaboration between finance and the broader organization
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, lenders, investors, and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Senior finance leadership experience as a CFO, Divisional CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent
- Experience in agriculture, food, commodities, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or another operationally complex industry
- Previous experience leading finance for a multi-site, international, or highly matrixed organization
- A track record of progressing through multiple finance functions, including controllership, FP&A, commercial finance, and business partnership
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, accounting, cash management, forecasting, and performance management
- Experience working closely with operations and supply chain teams
- Ability to move between strategic planning and detailed financial analysis
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
- CPA or CFA designation strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
