Select Portfolio Servicing is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions while partnering closely on Treasury and capital markets activities.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to help shape the strategic direction of a market-leading financial services organization. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership and SPS's private equity ownership to drive financial performance, support business growth, and strengthen the company's financial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership and ownership on long-term planning initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
- Strengthen FP&A processes and analytics capabilities.
- Provide actionable insights that connect financial performance to business strategy.
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Maintain strong governance and policy adherence across the finance function.
Treasury & Capital Markets
- Partner in overseeing treasury operations, liquidity management, and capital structure strategy.
- Manage banking and financing relationships.
- Support structured finance initiatives, including securitizations and other capital markets activities.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support a strong risk management and control environment.
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance organization.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and succession planning across the team.
Ideal Candidate
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior executive responsibility.
- Background in financial services, mortgage servicing, consumer finance, banking, specialty finance, or related industries.
- Strong experience leading Accounting and FP&A functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in treasury, capital markets, structured finance, ABS, securitization, or complex financing structures.
- Experience working with private equity ownership or private equity-backed companies is highly desirable.
- Track record of partnering with executive leadership and boards on strategic initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials preferred.
