Finatal is exclusively recruiting a Global CFO for a high-growth, VC-backed B2C business with global operations and an ambitious path towards IPO.
Having scaled from $0 to $500m in revenue in under 10 years, the business is entering its next phase of growth, with a clear ambition to reach $1bn in revenue ahead of a future IPO.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced CFO to join a business at a pivotal stage of its evolution and play a central role in scaling the organisation, strengthening its financial infrastructure and preparing the business for its next chapter.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and investors, the Global CFO will take ownership of the global finance function and help lead the business through its next stage of growth.
The London-based finance team comprises c.20 people, with the role overseeing the broader global finance agenda and partnering closely with the executive leadership team across the international business.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in:
- Leading the global finance function through a period of rapid growth and increasing scale.
- Supporting the business in its ambition to grow from $500m to $1bn+ revenue.
- Building the financial infrastructure, controls and processes required to support continued international expansion.
- Partnering with the CEO, Board and investors on strategy, performance and capital allocation.
- Driving rigorous financial planning, forecasting and performance management across the group.
- Supporting the organisation's evolution towards IPO readiness.
- Acting as a key commercial partner to the wider executive team, helping translate financial performance into actionable business decisions.
The Candidate
The business is looking for an established CFO who has operated in a high-growth B2C environment and has experience leading a finance function at a comparable scale.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven CFO experience within a high-growth business.
- Strong B2C experience, ideally in a consumer-facing, international and technology-enabled environment.
- Experience operating within a business of similar scale and complexity.
- A track record of scaling businesses and finance functions through significant revenue growth.
- Experience working with VC/PE investors and Boards.
- Strong commercial and strategic capabilities, alongside excellent financial discipline.
- Experience preparing a business for a major corporate event, ideally IPO or equivalent.
- The leadership capability to develop and scale a high-performing global finance team.
This is a role for a CFO who is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level — someone who can work with investors and the Board while remaining close enough to the business to drive meaningful change.
Package & Location
- £400,000 base salary + equity
