The Divisional Director of Sales Operations, with extensive experience, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes, strategies, and operations within a specific business division. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in driving operational excellence, enhancing sales efficiency, and contributing to overall business growth.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with divisional and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics.
Sales Process Optimization
- Streamline and optimize end-to-end sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the overall sales operation.
Data Analysis And Reporting
- Utilize data analytics to assess sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Generate regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Sales Forecasting And Budgeting
- Lead sales forecasting efforts, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate predictions.
- Contribute to the development of sales budgets and financial forecasts for the division.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Foster strong communication channels to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
Sales Training And Development
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to foster a high-performance sales culture.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in sales operations, with a focus on leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and achieving sales targets.
- Proven experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in relevant tools.
- Team management and leadership experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
Compensation includes the posted base salary range and does not reflect potential commission, incentive, bonus, or other additional compensation opportunities, where applicable. Total compensation is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related compensatory factors.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
