Job Description
The Associate – Business Operations (L2) provides day-to-day operational support to client-facing teams and helps manage the project lifecycle and pipeline. The role coordinates with project leadership and internal functions, including Staffing, Billing and Collections, Deal Administration, and Finance, to support accurate reporting, timely execution, and effective issue resolution.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to adopt AI-enabled ways of working is essential; hands-on experience with AI agents will be an advantage.
Your Impact:
Operations support
- Perform standard operational tasks for an account or a group of small accounts with appropriate oversight.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Staffing, Collections, Invoicing, and Client Finance.
- Maintain timely and accurate updates in key reports and systems.
- Identify operational or financial challenges, collaborate on resolutions, and escalate issues promptly when required.
- Coordinate and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for assigned accounts.
- Provide ad hoc reports and data as needed.
Reporting and Data Analysis
- Update the Operations Dashboard and facilitate reviews for assigned clients and Client Partners.
- Create and maintain trackers and support occasional ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Perform basic Excel tasks using formulas and simple logical functions, with appropriate oversight.
Client and Stakeholder Mgt:
- Coordinate with project leadership and internal teams such as Finance, Staffing, Billing, and Collections
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with delivery teams and, where applicable, client operations teams.
- Engage stakeholders clearly and ensure shared understanding to support effective decision-making
Risk Management:
- Understand how collections, contracts, invoicing, and revenue tracking affect the wider business.
- Identify associated risks and proactively escalate them to the Track Lead or Manager.
- Prioritize tasks effectively based on changing business needs
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience:
- Attention to detail, structured problem-solving, creative thinking, learning agility, multitasking, stakeholder coordination, and clear communication
- Project Management Office (PMO) and operations
- Comfort with AI-enabled ways of working; practical experience with AI agents is an advantage
Set Yourself Apart With:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- MBA in Finance, or a graduate/postgraduate qualification in Commerce
