For our client, we are seeking a CFO to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This executive will partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to shape strategy, guide growth initiatives, and strengthen financial discipline across the organization. The role will oversee finance and accounting operations, support capital planning, and help advance data-driven decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will bring deep banking-sector experience, strong regulatory expertise, and a track record of leading FP&A and transformation efforts.
Location: Kansas City, MO - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $450,000 – $500,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams, fostering a collaborative culture
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee external audit processes
- Manage capital planning activities including liquidity management and investment performance
- Enhance FP&A processes to deliver accurate financial forecasts and strategic insights
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as CFO in the banking sector with oversight of multiple entities
- Expertise in regulatory affairs and managing auditor relationships
- Proven ability in FP&A with a focus on data-driven transformation
- Familiarity with advanced analytics platforms such as Snowflake and PowerBI
- Strong knowledge of capital planning and risk management in a banking context
