Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President of Operations and Sales to take the helm in guiding and supporting our community Executive Directors. This influential position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our initiatives for residents, while cultivating a team culture that resonates with our core values. You will oversee established budgets and financial objectives, and significantly contribute to crafting and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies aimed at fulfilling targeted revenue and occupancy goals in close collaboration with the corporate management team, Executive Directors, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic agenda to achieve revenue and financial objectives across multiple community locations.
- Offer financial and analytical leadership to Executive Directors, ensuring the formulation and execution of corrective plans to enhance financial performance.
- Direct the community-level operating budget and capital planning process in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Establish the operational framework, processes, and expectations to drive operational objectives and strategies.
- Analyze trends and feedback to enhance resident and team member engagement in alignment with our Culture Code.
- Mentor Executive Directors in goal setting, providing constructive feedback, and assessing performance against expected outcomes.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate change among Executive Directors and team members to ensure goal alignment.
- Oversee comprehensive sales and marketing planning and execution that aligns with overall strategic goals.
- Identify and convey sales targets to maximize revenue while analyzing and managing the marketing operating budget to meet fiscal objectives and achieve census targets.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, hospitality, finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of operational experience in senior living or hospitality is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing multiple teams.
- Previous responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) management.
- In-depth knowledge of state regulations relevant to the operations of assigned communities.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
