Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Sales Operations Manager to streamline our sales processes and enhance overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer setup, distributing products amongst customers, tracking sales performance, and overseeing various projects within the sales team. You will play a critical role in optimizing our sales operations and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Set Up:
- Manage the customer onboarding process, ensuring timely and accurate setup in partnership with Ridge accounting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information for new customer accounts.
- Provide training and support to new customers, ensuring a seamless transition into our services and products.
2. Distribution of Product Amongst Customers:
- Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to monitor inventory levels and manage product allocation based on customer needs.
- Analyze customer demand patterns to optimize distribution processes and improve customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the sales team and leadership.
- Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics software to track sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasting.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in sales performance, making recommendations to enhance effectiveness.
- Effective communication with accounts based on product availability.
4. Project Management:
- Lead sales-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather requirements, set timelines, and manage resources effectively.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field; a plus
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, project management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Experience with project management (PM) tools.
- Proficiency in Notion for project management, task organization, collaboration, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Slack for effective communication, collaboration, and team coordination, including channel management, file sharing, and real-time messaging.
- Proficiency in GSuite for productivity, document management, and collaboration, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Familiarity with Loom for creating and sharing video content, including screen recordings, tutorials, and presentations, to enhance communication and training within teams.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics.
