The Opportunity
Sales Operations Analyst is a multifaceted role responsible for leveraging data analysis and advanced analytics to guide strategic initiatives, optimize business and sales processes, and support sales strategy and initiatives management. This position involves creating actionable insights from various data sources, supporting senior management with strategic recommendations, and supporting complex business solutions and sales programs.
What You’ll Do
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Create Reports: Design and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on business and sales performance, trends, pipeline status, and key metrics.
- Analyze Data: Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and derive actionable insights for improvement.
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Advanced Analytics and Data Modeling:
- Surface Insights: Extract actionable insights from multiple data sources to guide strategic initiatives and long-range planning.
- Data Models: Leverage advanced analytics and create data models to identify opportunities and complex business solutions.
- Foundational Datasets: Create and maintain foundational datasets that support multiple business opportunities and ensure quality, reproducibility, and accessibility.
- Business and Sales Insights:
- Identify Trends: Monitor and analyze trends to forecast future conditions and provide strategic recommendations.
- Optimization Opportunities: Identify client and order optimization opportunities through project and revenue analysis.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide data and input to senior management on business implications and recommend changes to strategy or operations.
- Business and Sales Initiatives Participation:
- Support Projects: Contribute to business and sales initiatives by providing data-driven insights and project management support.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to identify and prioritize performance optimization opportunities.
- Strategic Goals: Participate in developing and recommending strategic initiatives and goals based on analysis and models.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning:
- Forecast Sales: Develop and maintain sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and team input.
- Support Planning: Assist in creating sales plans and strategies by providing data-driven insights and projections.
- Process and Performance Optimization:
- Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize business and sales processes to implement best practices and improve efficiency.
- Performance Metrics: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for both business and sales functions against targets and benchmarks, and provide insights into performance gaps.
- Initiatives/Program Support:
- Scorecard Support: and communicate program scorecards and metrics.
- Incentives Management: Administer CTL program incentives in partnership with leadership and oversee program-related updates and reporting.
- Strategy Support: Provide analytical support for the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Data and Reporting Support: Point of contact for sales team members needing assistance with data and reporting.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Present Findings: Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and other stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor analyses to meet their needs.
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects:
- Conduct Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis to support rapidly changing business environments and undertake special projects as needed.
- Track and Follow-Up: Manage pipeline forecasts, track sales goals, and follow up on key initiatives.
- Knowledge Participation Participate in initiatives, committees and user groups providing foresight, business and analytical knowledge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Cross-Functional Relationships: Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support new and ongoing initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaborations: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to ensure alignment and support for sales operations.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and advanced analytics.
- Experience in process optimization, sales forecasting, and business analytics
- Strong proficiency in analytics platforms, CRM systems (particularly Dynamics), data management and reporting tools (PowerBI).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior management.
- Proven expertise in administering programs, excelling in cross-collaboration, and driving performance enhancements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in data modeling and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $87,600- $118,500
- Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
